CHOOSING A WRAP
Which ThermoLuma product is right for me?
Start with the body area.
Choose Back Support for the lower back, Shoulder Wrap for the shoulder, or Flex Wrap for smaller areas that can be securely wrapped. Then compare the heat, vibration, fit and light features available on each model.
What is the difference between the three models?
Back Support is shaped for the lower back and combines structured lumbar support with adjustable warmth, massage-like vibration and rhythmic pneumatic compression.
Shoulder Wrap is shaped for the shoulder and upper arm, with 3 heat settings, 3 vibration levels, 660 nm visible red light and 850 nm near-infrared light.
Flex Wrap uses a flexible adjustable design for smaller areas, with 3 heat levels, 3 vibration modes and built-in light.
Do all models have the same settings?
No. Heat and vibration controls vary by model.

USING YOUR WRAP
How do I choose a heat level?
Start with the lowest setting that feels comfortable and increase it only if needed. Stop use if the wrap feels excessively hot or uncomfortable.
How are ThermoLuma products charged?
Back Support, Shoulder Wrap and Flex Wrap are rechargeable. Follow the charging instructions supplied with your model and use only the specified charging accessories.
What is included with each product?
Package contents vary by model. Check the product page for the items listed with your wrap and follow the supplied instructions for setup, use and charging.
LIGHT & RESEARCH
Do all ThermoLuma wraps use the same light wavelengths?
No.
Back Support does not include built-in light.
Shoulder Wrap uses 660 nm visible red light and 850 nm near-infrared light.
Flex Wrap has built-in light.
What is the difference between 660 nm and 850 nm?
660 nm is visible red light. 850 nm is near-infrared light and is not visible to the eye.
Both wavelengths appear in photobiomodulation research, but wavelength alone does not determine an outcome. Device output, dose, timing, placement and the complete protocol also matter.
Where can I read the research behind these technologies?
Visit our Science page to explore published human research on superficial heat, localized vibration, 660 nm red light and 850 nm near-infrared light.
We include positive, mixed and null findings, explain the limitations and link directly to the published studies.
